As an industry insider, Mary Cordova spent five years as vice president and director of referral services for another placement and referral agency, and as a distributor of durable medical equipment for more than two decades, selling supplies to hospitals, nursing homes and physicians. She also served as an executive director in a memory care community.
But Mary wanted to put seniors first in all aspects and to always do what is right, not just what was profitable, so she sought out entrepreneur Marc Lilly and the two co-founded Concierge Care Advisors, where their ‘Agenda Number One’ is to protect vulnerable seniors and their families. Mary wanted to ensure that CCA would rise above the rest by honestly and equitably letting seniors and their families know all their options, not just the most profitable for referral agencies. And they wanted to do more than hand nervous and overwhelmed families a list of facilities; they wanted to provide true “Concierge Care”, offering personal service and carefully vetted recommendations. Mary wanted to elevate the industry where health providers view placement and referral agencies as an extension when patients leave hospitals and rehabilitation units in order to collectively support Seniors through the aging process, which can be so overwhelming.
Born and raised in Mountlake Terrace as the ninth child of ten in her family, Mary benefitted from a multi-generational household after her grandmother moved in to help care for the family. That loving relationship permeates Mary’s passion for people, especially Seniors and those who have fallen on hard times.

Susan Philipsen (RN), Senior Concierge Care Advisor for Coachella Valley
Credentials: HIPAA Certified, CCA Certified, RN for Washington and California
Education: BA in Parks and Recreation from Western Washington University and Nursing from Highline College.
Contact: (360) 461-0911 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Susan started her career in the senior care/health industry by working in aquatics (exercise and therapy). After helping elders through this type of physical therapy, Susan focused on the mental health of elders and worked in assisted living.
After a decade of providing care for the elderly, Susan worked in pediatrics and home health, effectively assisting the opposite spectrum of those in need: children. Although she still consults and works with her clients, she wanted to continue working with seniors, albeit in a new capacity.
Susan has a wide-breadth of knowledge from her years of experience but, in addition to her work history, she’s even taught classes in basic caregiving and specialized caregiving for dementia and mental health.
For family members coming to the Concierge Care Advisors looking for a home for their senior, you cannot get a more well-rounded individual. Susan can help ease the transition process as well as keep you informed with how to take care of your elder (and yourself).

Jill started her career in the healthcare industry in 1997 as a provider of an Adult Family Home in Ft. Collins, Colorado for older adults with Developmental Disabilities. After being challenged by a friend to volunteer at an Assisted Living community, she was immediately bitten by the “bug” of providing care for seniors. Jill took a role as a Life Enrichment Director and was soon promoted to Executive Director. Jill has successfully managed communities for five well known and respected companies in Colorado and Washington state ranging from Dementia Care to Independent and Assisted Living.
Jill has spent that last 18 years of her career building solid, reputable and positive resources so that she can better support all aspects of senior care. Jill was born and raised in Texas but has lived in Washington state since 2003. She loves her Southern roots and credits much of her desire to care and support people from those beginnings. She has two adult children and is engaged to be married. Jill enjoys spending time with family, dancing, movies and hosting BBQ’s for friends and family.
Jill is a true advocate for older adults and their families. She has a keen awareness of the struggles associated with aging and the stress it brings to seniors and their loved ones. Jill offers a loving approach to seniors but will also ask the hard questions to get to the root of needs or to ensure that providers are capable of providing safe care. Jill comments daily that it is “an honor to serve this population”.
KM Schultz, Senior Concierge Care Advisor for King County Washington
Credentials: HIPAA Certified, CCA Certified, RN and CSA
Contact: (425) 749-1149
Schultz brings an eclectic and diverse combination of skills to CCA. Her professional background includes the military, event planning and nursing. While she could choose any number of careers, her heart is set on Senior Care.
Born and raised in Hawaii, she attended the prestigious Punahou School on Oahu. She spent her childhood between city life on Oahu and country living on The Big Island. Her upbringing was a blend of traditional Japanese and western values. The Japanese culture she was born into reveres and honors ancestors. Because of this, her dedication to seniors is more than “just her job.” The western culture opened her up to being able to evaluate and adapt to each individuals situation. Being a nurse, her foremost concern is always her patient.
Never one to take the well-traveled path, her adventures finally led her to Washington State. Once here, she continued her work in the senior care industry by working in the hospice and home health arena. Here, she realized that a senior’s quality of life affected their health and she wanted to prevent health issues versus treat them. This ideology is what led her to CCA.
Once asked why she chose to work in hospice, home care and the senior industry…Schultz replied “Not everyone’s Book of Life was a good story. I want to make the last chapter of their story the best part of their book.”
