As an industry insider, Mary Cordova spent five years as vice president and director of referral services for another placement and referral agency, and as a distributor of durable medical equipment for more than two decades, selling supplies to hospitals, nursing homes and physicians. She also served as an executive director in a memory care community.

But Mary wanted to put seniors first in all aspects and to always do what is right, not just what was profitable, so she sought out entrepreneur Marc Lilly and the two co-founded Concierge Care Advisors, where their ‘Agenda Number One’ is to protect vulnerable seniors and their families. Mary wanted to ensure that CCA would rise above the rest by honestly and equitably letting seniors and their families know all their options, not just the most profitable for referral agencies. And they wanted to do more than hand nervous and overwhelmed families a list of facilities; they wanted to provide true “Concierge Care”, offering personal service and carefully vetted recommendations. Mary wanted to elevate the industry where health providers view placement and referral agencies as an extension when patients leave hospitals and rehabilitation units in order to collectively support Seniors through the aging process, which can be so overwhelming.

Born and raised in Mountlake Terrace as the ninth child of ten in her family, Mary benefitted from a multi-generational household after her grandmother moved in to help care for the family. That loving relationship permeates Mary’s passion for people, especially Seniors and those who have fallen on hard times.

Kathy brings over 30 years of experience to Concierge Care Advisors, working on many different levels and many different facets of senior housing and elder care.

Kathy’s unique and diversified background has allowed her to hold positions a multiple positions within senior living communities. For instance, at one time she has been both the Director of Nursing and theDirector of Marketing in Assisted Living Communities.

Throughout her academic career, Kathy has undergone a great deal of nursing education. This gives her the distinct advantage of understanding special cases in senior care. She can address and manage medical issues concerning the family. In addition, her marketing background has provided her with an appreciation of the specific placement needs of a family. She does not automatically categorize families, but assessing their needs and wants, prioritizing them to provide them with the best possible outcome.

Her passion for senior living and health, comes from having lost her sister to Alzheimer’s Disease at the young age of 61. She has experienced first-hand what a devastating diagnosis this can be to individual, but also to the family that loves them. Because of this, she has sought to provide guidance for peoplewho are suffering from this disease and give help and advice to the families involved. It’s a very personal life interruption and she strives to provide others with the resources she was never given.

In addition to all these traits and wealth of experience that make Kathy a tremendous asset to Concierge Care Advisors, she has also written a children’s book called Whitney’s School Morning based on the truisms from growing up. She continues to write poems and accounts her experience and thoughts on life. Furthermore, she spends much of her free time reading the works of John Grisham and James Patterson, but also enjoys movies, music, and above all, dancing.

Lois has been in the customer service industry all her life and has been a business owner in Kitsap County. She has seen firsthand how difficult the process of finding a safe, nurturing environment can be for a family. When her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s she watched as her father suffered thru trying to be the caregiver for her mother. After this experience she sought to help others as a caregiver and Community Relations Specialist in assisted living communities, where she could be of help to not only the seniors living there but be there to support their families as well.

Lois has built lasting relationships with families and seniors in the communities she has worked in, built on trust and a true heart for advocating for the best interest of the seniors.

In her free time, Lois enjoys biking, running and painting. She is a publisher children’s author and is most comfortable by the beach.

Amanda has had a passion for seniors the majority of her life. At age 10 her great grandmother moved from the East Coast to the Puget Sound. It was a treat being able to go to the local senior center to play cards and Bingo with her great-grandmother and all her friends. That same passion found her volunteering and going on to become a CNA at 14. After 6 years working in Hospitals and Memory Care she continued her education in Oregon at Mt Hood Community College obtaining her degree in Occupational Therapy.

One of Amanda’s favorite quotes is “Happiness is not a destination, it’s a way of life”. Making the gift of today matter. She’s dedicated to helping others help themselves. Her inside knowledge of navigating through the muddy waters of healthcare and experience partnering with Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, and Rehabilitation Professionals helps make anyone’s transition clearer.

Amanda is a Mother of 2. She LOVES her Seattle Seahawks and cheering her children on in sports and dance. If she’s not working she’s playing.

Locally from the Pacific Northwest, Jessica attended Central Washington University during 2005 – 2009 where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. Near graduation, her mother had been diagnosed and was working towards beating brain cancer; therefore, she chose to relocate back home where she could support her family and was fortunate enough to live with her grandmother. Also during that time, she accomplished what would end up being a ten – year profession in the hospitality industry.

Through her personal experience of helping a loved one balance the many dynamics and challenges of living with a disability, Jessica was delighted to find her true purpose by way of attending to the disabled and elderly population in 2015. She started her career in the Senior Living industry as a Community Relations Director serving various retirement communities; she deeply values guiding both individuals and their families towards making a sound lifestyle decision by way of providing the right educational resources and information, ultimately assuring peace of mind for everyone involved.

In her personal life, Jessica enjoys spending time with her loved ones and two rescue dogs, hiking, re-purposing furniture, traveling, “thrifting” or training for her first half-marathon, scheduled in 2017.

Erin’s worked with seniors in the health care industry for over 20 years. She got her start working as an Admissions Director at a skilled nursing facility in Southern California. That position taught her how important it is to not only advocate for seniors but their families as well.

She spent the next 5 years as an Admissions Coordinator for various hospice companies where she personally worked with over 500 terminally ill patients and their families setting up hospice services and connecting them with other resources in the community to assist them during that time.

Erin used her hospice experience and passion for helping others in her role as a Community Liaison for a company that provided private duty home care and placement services.

A common theme in all of these rolls is Erin has a true passion to work closely with the clients and their families to ensure they receive the personal care they deserve while they are in the process of making life altering decisions.

Erin moved to Washington 4 years ago with her husband and their daughter. In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading and traveling.

Silvanus knew early on she had a passion for the elderly and caring for others. She was raised by her grandparents, and her grandmother, a nurse, inspired her and her love of caring for others. At the age of 16, Silvanus went to school to become a CNA, she worked in a facility for a couple months before realizing she wanted to make a difference and didn’t feel that being a CNA was the way to do that.

Silvanus started a family and worked at various jobs for the next six years before enrolling in college. While going to school she worked with developmentally disabled adults. In 2014, after graduating she started working in an assisted living facility as the business office director, where she was eventually promoted to the memory care director and then again as a sales director. Silvanus love working with seniors and their families.

While not at work Silvanus can be found wandering around beautiful Snohomish County with her husband and three kids in tow.

Amanda has helped care for others her entire life. As the oldest of three siblings, and the daughter of daycare center director, Amanda realized early that she enjoyed helping others and thrived in doing so.

She graduated from Western Washington University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. During her studies, Amanda interned at a hearing healthcare clinic before being hired full time the week after graduation. This is when her passion for working with seniors began. She worked her way from a front office position to beginning her continued education in the Hearing Instrument Specialist program at Spokane Falls Community College in 2012.

After graduating with honors from the program, she was promoted to Hearing Instrument Specialist at the Connect Hearing Everett office in August of 2014. In her role, Amanda has worked closely with the community to both educate and advocate for hearing health and.

She has embraced her drive to support and care for seniors in the past six years.The best part about what she has done is establishing wonderful relationships with her patients and getting to know them and their families. She recognized that this was her true calling; helping individuals and their family members.

Amanda lives in Everett with her college sweetheart and their two cats. She is an avid reader and has fun exploring new recipes, visiting with friends and family, and traveling.
