As an industry insider, Mary Cordova spent five years as vice president and director of referral services for another placement and referral agency, and as a distributor of durable medical equipment for more than two decades, selling supplies to hospitals, nursing homes and physicians. She also served as an executive director in a memory care community.
But Mary wanted to put seniors first in all aspects and to always do what is right, not just what was profitable, so she sought out entrepreneur Marc Lilly and the two co-founded Concierge Care Advisors, where their ‘Agenda Number One’ is to protect vulnerable seniors and their families. Mary wanted to ensure that CCA would rise above the rest by honestly and equitably letting seniors and their families know all their options, not just the most profitable for referral agencies. And they wanted to do more than hand nervous and overwhelmed families a list of facilities; they wanted to provide true “Concierge Care”, offering personal service and carefully vetted recommendations. Mary wanted to elevate the industry where health providers view placement and referral agencies as an extension when patients leave hospitals and rehabilitation units in order to collectively support Seniors through the aging process, which can be so overwhelming.
Born and raised in Mountlake Terrace as the ninth child of ten in her family, Mary benefitted from a multi-generational household after her grandmother moved in to help care for the family. That loving relationship permeates Mary’s passion for people, especially Seniors and those who have fallen on hard times.

Kathy brings over 30 years of experience to Concierge Care Advisors, working on many different levels and many different facets of senior housing and elder care.
Kathy’s unique and diversified background has allowed her to hold positions a multiple positions within senior living communities. For instance, at one time she has been both the Director of Nursing and theDirector of Marketing in Assisted Living Communities.
Throughout her academic career, Kathy has undergone a great deal of nursing education. This gives her the distinct advantage of understanding special cases in senior care. She can address and manage medical issues concerning the family. In addition, her marketing background has provided her with an appreciation of the specific placement needs of a family. She does not automatically categorize families, but assessing their needs and wants, prioritizing them to provide them with the best possible outcome.
Her passion for senior living and health, comes from having lost her sister to Alzheimer’s Disease at the young age of 61. She has experienced first-hand what a devastating diagnosis this can be to individual, but also to the family that loves them. Because of this, she has sought to provide guidance for peoplewho are suffering from this disease and give help and advice to the families involved. It’s a very personal life interruption and she strives to provide others with the resources she was never given.

In addition to all these traits and wealth of experience that make Kathy a tremendous asset to Concierge Care Advisors, she has also written a children’s book called Whitney’s School Morning based on the truisms from growing up. She continues to write poems and accounts her experience and thoughts on life. Furthermore, she spends much of her free time reading the works of John Grisham and James Patterson, but also enjoys movies, music, and above all, dancing.

Erin’s worked with seniors in the health care industry for over 20 years. She got her start working as an Admissions Director at a skilled nursing facility in Southern California. That position taught her how important it is to not only advocate for seniors but their families as well.
She spent the next 5 years as an Admissions Coordinator for various hospice companies where she personally worked with over 500 terminally ill patients and their families setting up hospice services and connecting them with other resources in the community to assist them during that time.
Erin used her hospice experience and passion for helping others in her role as a Community Liaison for a company that provided private duty home care and placement services.
A common theme in all of these rolls is Erin has a true passion to work closely with the clients and their families to ensure they receive the personal care they deserve while they are in the process of making life altering decisions.
Erin moved to Washington 4 years ago with her husband and their daughter. In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading and traveling.

Lisa has spent her entire life helping seniors with their needs. As a young girl on an eastern Washington fruit farm, her grandparents were always on the same property or close by, where she was taught their strong work ethic and the value of family.
In the last twenty years, she has turned that into a career in the healthcare and health insurance field. She has worked for several years with various agencies in Pierce County including a large health insurance company and hospice. She has been both on the front line in a customer service capacity and behind the scenes ensuring that the relationships between medical services, insurance, and families run smoothly.
In her spare time, Lisa loves to be at home with her husband and pets while enjoying cooking and gardening, yet also has been bitten by the travel bug and likes to get out and see the world.

Brenda started her career working with seniors as a Traveling Sales and Marketing Manager. Working in multiple Assisted Living and Memory Care communities in Washington, Oregon and Colorado. Then chose to work at one community as the Assistant Executive Director.
Brenda’s passions are Alzheimer’s/Dementia awareness and working with Veteran’s. She lost her Grandmother to Alzheimer’s and understands how difficult this disease is for families and wants to help make this transition as easy as possible. Brenda still goes to communities she worked at to visit the residents. Everyone needs a hug and sometimes family is too far away to visit regularly. A twenty plus-year career in the eldercare field with an emphasis on guiding families to make the best decision for their loved ones, Sylvana has worked as a Community Relations Director in a Continuing Care Residential setting, in Assisted Living, and Memory Care Communities. She was the Executive Director of a Memory Care Community and that experience, combined with many years in Long Term Care, has given her a full appreciation and understanding of the complexities in the eldercare field.
Sylvana’s introduction to eldercare began when she and her husband were in Burma where she regularly visited a dilapidated colonial style Old Folks Home for destitute elderly women. She showed them how to quilt and they taught her how to be in the moment. Since then, she is reminded of the importance of being present and attentive. This is reinforced by having lived in numerous foreign countries, fluency in many languages, and the impact of the extensive exposure to other ways of thinking and being.
Sylvana’s traits can be described as: passionate about eldercare; joyful; always ready to jump into action; empathetic and compassionate. She lives in Edmonds with her husband Bob and their Portuguese Water Dog “Tejo,” named after the river in Lisbon, Portugal, where they met many years ago. Maria has always enjoyed the company of seniors. Close relationships with her grandparents fostered a respect for their wisdom and being entertained by their stories. In college she loved working at a retirement home and more recently spent five years working with seniors as they navigated insurance choices once becoming eligible for Medicare. She finds great satisfaction in assisting people through complications.
Embracing her skills as a compassionate listener, Maria acquired her Masters in Guidance and Counseling. Her concern for helping others also led her to further training in Clinical Pastoral Education while volunteering as a chaplain.

Arlinda’s introduction to senior care, at age 11, was serving as a companion to an elderly neighbor during powerful Midwest thunderstorms. She learned the value and challenges of functioning in a multigenerational home during her youth when her maternal grandmother lived with her family. As an adult and after a career in business and working with nonprofits began managing care for and serving as an advocate for seniors in her local community, serving as a care and community relations manager for assisted and skilled living communities, home health and care organizations, and hospice facilities and care staff. A senior care services professional for over a decade, Arlinda has acquired and applied the skills, knowledge and perspective vital to understand and provide the empathetic expertise seniors and their families need to respond to and navigate the multiple challenges of aging.
Through her years of experience in community relations and marketing for home care agencies, assisted and memory care communities, and as a certified massage therapist with special focus on geriatric therapy, Arlinda is committed to providing informed, safe, ethical and superior service to her clients and their families.
Having lived and worked throughout the country, Arlinda has gained valuable professional and personal perspectives living in multiple cultural environments. She and her husband Jeffrey moved to Whidbey Island in mid-2017, where Arlinda enjoys gardening, reading, and the diverse wildlife surrounding them. She and her husband recently adopted a sweet rescue dog, Poppy, and are delighted to have two artistic sons and daughters-in-law, and two beautiful teenage granddaughters who live in nearby Seattle.
